I have that one beat. My father in law is an outstanding chiropractor. He adjusted our son at just a couple of months old. I have some great pictures of it and he did an excellent job. I don’t know that is always the thing to do or that all kids need that but it was very interesting to watch and did absolutely no harm.

Chiropractic has an excellent medical record and can be extremely effective for certain things. It is important to have someone experienced and reputable.

I think it’s very important… the most important thing when entrusting something as sensitive to tension as your spine is to be adjusted by someone you *like* and *trust*.

Similar to having babies surrounded only by people you *like* and *trust*..

It makes all the difference in the world.

You can tell yourself the person is reputable all day long but if you in your gut don’t really like or quite trust that person, you’ll respond not as favorably. Many people blame themselves for being tense instead of understanding there’s a source of tension within themselves going unheeded or unheard.

If it gives you a stroke, that would be harm in trying. 😦

Chiropractors have *zero* records in strokes that I’m aware of. Osteopaths, on the other hand – basically M.D.’s with weekend crash-courses in spinal manipulation – have caused strokes. But even then, that’s rare.

I’ll try & watch the video later. In the meantime, if you’d like, check out the peer-reviewed Journal of Subluxation Research.
