ROM By-The-Numbers: July 17

I feel like I’m finally hitting my range-of-motion stride again. Lower-body workouts remain exhausting and leave me out of breath; I drink a glass of chlorophyll-oxygenated water afterward. (I don’t think that this is a ‘normal’ response to the ROM; in the past couple of years, it seems that I’ve developed a fierce allergic reaction to North Carolina pollen. At its worst, I have difficulty breathing in general.) But I feel a better overall sense of well-being, like my body is finally coming into its own. Here are my bodyfat stats this week:

  • Overall weight: 259
  • Bodyfat: 31.9%
  • Muscle: 30.9%
  • Visceral: 12

Isn’t it interesting how ‘weight’ – such a general term – can be unmoved, but things like fat and muscle can reverse themselves? It’s these small, gradual indicators that are the most encouraging – they are signs of lasting change.

For the whole (health) enchilada, go here!

I have to admit so far so good when it comes to the Rom. You look in better shape but I ask you this how is your cardiovascular conditioning going? Can you run any faster without taking a breath? I am curious cause I have been toying with the idea about purchasing a ROM for a long time

‘Isn’t it interesting how ‘weight’ – such a general term – can be unmoved, but things like fat and muscle can reverse themselves?’

It certainly is. It’s also what’s frustrating for the rest of us who only have the scales to go on!

Of course, it’s also a great excuse. “Oh, look – I must have gained even more muscle this week!”😀
