Heretic Hunter

A fun song for the weekend. The sad thing is, most of the YouTube videos archived right beside it are bona-fide heresy-hunting extravaganzas.

    Mike,
There was a late 19th century magazine in “Restoration Movement” (Campbell-Stone tradition)”The Heretic Detector.” No joke.

    That is wild, Kevin.

At least they were up-front about it. Now they like hiding behind the obscure word “Bereans.” 🙂

    Hello Zoecarnate,

Blessings in the name of Yeshua! Wow, that was weird to google our names & find that we are the topic of heresy…makes us kind of almost feel like Tertullian or Augustine or something. We don’t know what being “sliced” means but it sounds painful…

Isn’t it funny how people like to jump on the witchcraft bandwagon? We make it very clear in our website what witchcraft IS & IS NOT and that we DO NOT practice whatever the original Greek & Hebrew says is not permitted. We also talk about the word “witchcraft” & propose a new word “EarthCraft” were we practice our Christian faith through the Natural World we have been given.

Sure people are confused about the word “goddess”. For some it’s hard to conceive that Elohim (let US make mankind in OUR image) is both male & female. Either Elohim is androgenous or we were created male & female in the image of Elohim. Alot of explanation is found on our “what we believe” page & on our “goddess” link…all found in Scripture!

We came across the Zoecarnate website about a year ago & loved the links to all of the diversity of life in Christ. We desire to reach out to a broken world & touch those that won’t go near the traditional church.

Personally, our beliefs are against the money-grubbing $30,000 marbletop commode-for-Jesus, need a jet for Jesus, got a rolex from Jesus type of ministry. We see these types of teachings as heresy. Would we dare say that these people are not Believers? Never! The Body of Christ is crazy with diversity & we decided that we are not going to lock Christ in a box that is purely for the 20th/21st-century caucasian middle class american that has a certain way of life & value system. We cannot fathom the depths of diversity in Christ!

We believe in sin & hell and that the only way to Salvation is through Christ (there, we said it!) But we already said that on our website 🙂 Hopefully people will read through everything before judging our hearts or our work or our call. We have had some hate mail, but we have also had the opportunity to dialog with nice folks too.

We accept Zoecarnate’s (or anyone’s) invitation for coffee!

We also do not want to offend anyone, so if you want the link to your website removed, we will do that for you graciously.

blessings to you & your ministry,
    Melody & Charlie Jenkins
